#38 The Go-Girl Guide

22fc8834183f595981b0636c08e02b54I came across The Go-Girl Guide in the Self-Help section and figured I might as well read it, considering I’m in my 20’s and everything. Juilia Bourland touches base on a range of material relating to a girl’s every-changing life in their 20’s. I enjoyed some chapters in this book, like the “Our Body and Soul” section that focuses on taking care of yourself in all kinds of stages in your life. Most of the book, however, I didn’t find all that great. Sure, Bourland gives some good advice but for the most part I was just bored. I’ve returned to this book a few times to revisit certain sections, although I haven’t had the urge to read much more than a few pages again.
